Melbourne’s Sam Ky knows a good thing when he sees it - and he reckons Kia’s industry-leading seven-year warranty with seven year capped-price servicing and seven year roadside assist is a good thing.
Ky, 32, had spent hours on the internet sorting through the new car market before making the decision to buy a top-of-the-line Sportage.
“I had spent a couple of weeks Googling websites and comparing different cars from expert reviews and, to be honest, we had made the decision to go with the Sportage a couple of days before the seven-year warranty was announced,” Ky explained.
“We loved the look of the Sportage, the features and the value for money so the seven-year warranty was just the icing on the cake.”
Safety was also a major factor in choosing the Sportage as Ky and wife Joanna are expecting their first baby in December.
“With a baby on the way safety was a critical consideration, and again the Sportage met all our expectations.”
Ky’s decision to upgrade from his aging RAV4 into the Kia brought back plenty of memories. “It’s funny, but the last time I drove a Kia it was one of the older Sportage models about 12 years ago when I was on my L-Plates. The new one is a bit different.”
The Kys purchased their Sportage from Ferntree Gully Kia.
